General mobilization of teams from the Faculty of Medicine of Fez

The various components of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy (FMP) of Fez, in particular the faculty, are mobilized to carry out the distance education operation, launched as part of the prevention measures aimed at stemming the spread of Covid-19.

The Faculty has embarked on distance education, like other universities to support efforts to combat Covid19 and succeed in the containment operation imposed by the competent authorities, said the vice -Dean of the Faculty, El Azami Idrissi Mohamed.

Mr. El Azami Idrissi indicated that all the components of the faculty, in particular the faculty, strongly adhered to this initiative, adding that despite their medical commitment at the CHU of Fez, the professors have prepared a series of lectures in favor students.

Some 70% of the remaining courses were completed thanks to the involvement of teachers and their efforts to contribute to the success of this operation, he said, adding that students have direct access to these courses via the platform set up by the Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah University of Fez.

Students and teachers are also in constant contact on social media, he said, urging students to follow the instructions of the relevant authorities and stay at home, since the first objective of this initiative is to succeed. the containment operation.

The Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research had announced the suspension of classes from Monday, March 16 until further notice, in all crèches, establishments of education, professional training and academic institutions, private or public.

This decision, which is part of the preventive measures aimed at stemming the spread of the Coronavirus, is applicable to all public and private higher education establishments, training establishments for executives not belonging to universities, schools and language centers under the Foreign Missions; language centers and private tutoring centers.

According to the ministry, the decision to suspend classes represents a preventive measure aimed at protecting the health of pupils, trainees, students, administrative and teaching staff working in educational establishments and all citizens.
